Hyundai language
Hey, i just bought an 03 elantra 4 cyl (2 liter) and i know a good amount about cars but know absolutely nothing with hyundai's. after reading this forum for a while i am thoroughly confused with the lingo, can someone please explain what the different types of engines/models are?
Im also looking to start modding my car probably with an intake and ecu mod, browsing the internet i havnt found much for my specific model, what else is compatible?

This is not comprehensive, but:
Alpha engines = 1.5 SOHC or DOHC, 1.6 DOHC
Betas = 1.8 & 2.0
Deltas = ?
Lambdas =?
Dunno the engine codes as well, there's a 2.4, 2.7, and 3.8 liter in there somewhere. wink.gif

also is there any way to get a cosmo racing CAI to fit on an 03 elantra? their site only has CAI's for older model elantras and newer tibbys, i could get just an SRI but CAI should be a little better and looks better too?
