I am considering getting rid of some of my older tools (mostly snap on...box, wrenches, sockets, etc) and wondering how they hold there value. Is it worth trying to sell them or should I give them away or trash them? I'm getting new ones in the new couple of weeks to replace the old worn out ones.

worst case pawn shop. I'd say if you have a nephew or something just starting out in the world, you could be a favorite relative for like 5 minutes if you donated them to the cause.

dude...craigslist...kijiji....even if you get $20 its better than throwing them out. price them according to what shape they're in. people will pay good money for snap-on tools...just take a good guess at what its worth and jack the price up slightly and put OBO. if it doesn't sell, lower the price in a week.
