Thumbs down How picky are you about your car's maintenance schedule?

Do you neglect to replace a component for a few weeks or months? Do you go 2,000 miles over the oil change interval? How picky do you get about the parts that you use to maintain your car?

For the Murano, I usually go just beyond the due time. Oil - 5,000 miles because I'm not hard on it.

For the GC, I'm going to be right on top of it.

Oil changes --> Always on time or earlier, every 5000km.

Replacing parts --> Depends. If it's something of vital importance, like a tie-rod end, then I get it replaced ASAP. However, some things (like my rear suspension crossmember) have been put aside for a couple of years. There was a rusted hole gaping through it, but I didn't think it was urgent. Eventually contacted Hyundai and got them to replace it for free. tongue.gif My father is a mechanic, so I have no excuse for procrastinating on most maintenance issues.
