run the windshield washer nozzles. Sprays them with the overspray.

Hah!!! Pennies!

I did the windshield washer trick when I was 16. On both a Toyota camera and a jeep grand Cherokee. The jeep had a rear wiper that you just unplug and it pisses all over everything behind the car as the wiper goes back and forth.

On-track, I check them as often as possible. You need to know who is behind you and where they are, so you can anticipate what they will try and do. On the road, even moreso: every couple of seconds or whenever I feel bored, I will check the mirrors and blind spots. Before I brake, before I turn, after the turn and its time to go to the proper lane, its very important as spring is here and the motorcyclists are beginning to come out. They are very, very fast and can change positions in a split second, so if I see one in the rear view or wing mirror, its time to be careful as they could be right under you while they are difficult to see.
