Did you take it to learn how to drive or to get a discount on your insurance?

I did. It was required to get my license at 16 instead of 18.

Went to driving school because I didn't quite make the age requirement for driver's ed. For insurance purposes though. Also had a good student discount for having my grades up, so that was cool.

I took it in 9th grade when I was 14 1/2, got my permit at 15 near the end of 9th grade then got my license at 16 a year later.
