If you were offered a job at a Hyundai dealership, how good to you think you would be at selling them? I ask because there appears to be a lot of experts on here that know the ins and outs of the cars. Most car sales people are idiots and barely know anything other than whats printed out on the winder sticker. So do you think by being very knowledgeable, it would give you an advantage over other sales people and you would be able to sell more cars?
i used to be a hyundai saleperson before i decided sales wasn't for me, i knew the details of the car and the equipment list, my weakness was not selling enough, people skills and i didn't own a car at the time to get to work,
and now i make a living by studying their specs and repairing car's on the side for a living,

I don't think the average consumer cares if the salesperson knows EVERYTHING about the car. Most people just care about the basics. Being a good salesman has more to do with people skills and communication than knowledge about every little thing about a certain brand or model of car.
I bought both my Hyundai's, 3 years apart, from the same salesman at the dealership because he was such a great guy, who treated me right. When I went in to buy the second car he was busy with some other customer, I decided to come back another day to buy the car.... that REALLY pissed off the salesman that was TRYING to help me.

I think I'd make the most sales if I asked people not to buy the cars. Nobody buying a budget family sedan gives a rat's arse about the tech specs.

Yeah, I'd be pretty bad at my job. I have some very strong (messed up) views on what a car should be. You come to me wanting an SUV or base model anything... no, just no.
I was at a car lot last night and actually sat there pondering blowing my cash (for the next 5 years) on a busted 850i. V12 BMW POWER!! He also had a mid 80s 6-series which looked gorgeous!! And he only wanted 1500 for it, because it had been sitting for 13 years so you know engine is toast. He also had an AMG E36 wagon with aftermarket spray, an 88 FC3C (rx7 'vert), SR swapped 95 240, several c/r107 Benz; plus, not there but, I found a Canadian legal Stagea for real cheap I considered state titling, but the wife talked sense into me. (Would do an R34 front end swap and add wood paneling
..... because its a wagon. Damn that would have been cool, in a lame kinda way.)

There's no such thing as a 'cheap' euro luxury car. If you can't afford a new one, you sure as hell can't afford an old one.
(By spray to you mean NOS? Buy it.)
