I think thats one of the major questions alot of people get asked when they drive a modded korean car. People ask why mod a Hyundai or Kia. When people ask you this, what has been your response?

 

I tell them that I enjoy the challenge of finding the right thing and making it work. The thought of (especially with a honda or a toyota) just go to a performance website and find 20 things holds no challenge to me. For example, the almighty elusive airram. waiting for one, and then finally finding, and buying it is a rush. Whereas you can still buy IMs for a CRX from, like Blox, or something of the like. No challenge and BORING.

 

I tell them: cause I bought the car with my f*cking money and mod it with my f*cking money. Then I ask them are you paying for this car? Then answer for them no your not.

 

Because its not a Honda/Toyota/Nissan/Mitsu/Ford/Chevy/VW like every other modded car on the streets....

Not so sure you can say that anymore driving a Genesis Coupe. I see minimum 15 - 20 a day and at least half have something modded or at least have rims and tint.
