Pretty common.



I still need to get a pic of me making one say ER because of over 99mph. I've done that once, but I don't know if they all do that.

We had one near my place in an 80 km/h zone, on a straight, long road. I wanted see how high I could get it to read and the stupid thing went blank after 120 km/h! Safety feature?

I like to use them to make sure my speedometer is reading accurately. I don't think I've ever seen anyone actually slow down for them. Flashing "School Zone" lights get much better response around here.
