It's my understanding that JEM(Marck)/JT Autostyle created the air ride kit for the Elantra.

The rest of the stuff may have been sponsorship stuff, I don't really know.

The car was GIVEN to him by Hyundai. But I think it was only a one year lease/grant, not "given" to him as in he now owns it. I could be wrong, I have no idea what the "behind the scenes" arrangements are.

yeah, i agree with all that. as for the $50K....hyundai gave him the car and a budget to fix it up with. the car looks nice but claiming to have stuff you dont is just as bad as putting a "type R" sticker on your honda. i, too would've expected more from this guy.
oh well
lets just hope that Randoms letter gets in the mag so we can steal back some of the respect weve lost.

Yes, that's my point exactly, I don't feel we've gained any respect from that article, more so, it's hurt us even more, cause any other tuner out there will laugh at it when they see the car in person, and claim that "all" hyundai tuners are liars with MODS...

Ok, I spoke to someone regarding this, and yes, the car was given to him, back when he was claiming to be the feature for F&F2, well it didn't happen, so there was an option of giving it back to hyundai or buy the car, don't know where that stands now... And even he said it himself in the VIDEO that he thanks his sponsors, cause that's what he got, mostly everything is payed for same thing from what I hear, they all believed he would be in F&F2...

And NKING, you're right, to me, it sounds RICE, so what if the car looks good... but it's a let down to us to have a mag say stuff that will come back and haunt us... I feel it's the 2nd time where instead of helping Hyundai as he claims it has hurt us... remember the F&F2 discussion, well if it wouldn't have been for him, those comments in www.moviecarz.com would've never been made, they knew him by name/make/model... oh well sad.gif all we can do is try to correct the wrongs, we corrected #1 already cause we have a hyundai in the movie, and now hopefully with Autobots and Randoms emails we can correct #2...

maybe thats just it. maybe hyundai gave him the car and a budget and he put the amount above the budget in writing so they think he used all the money on the car when he really used the money for something else. oh well.

noone really knows why except him. i don't personally care. everyone who knows the truth now thinks worse of him and hci. i think the car is nice. ive seen it in person and think alot of work has been put into it. but as far as price... ill leave that alone.
