Default Great add-on or Flashy junk?

What say you, oh masters of Flashy and Tuning...

Ebay Link

Is it flashy under-the-hood junk or a worthwhile add-on?

voltage regulators are great, but you won't see any performance gains. Doesn't look like it does much. Not really sure what it is.

Thanks - the concept seemed to make sense...by storing "back-up" energy there was less of a strain on system, therefore creating slight increases in performance. Made sense...to someone who doesn't know better :-)

There are hundreds of these ads on ebay for different suppliers, with similar claims - how do they get away with these ads if there is not some truth to them?

If nothing else, it would still look cool under hood, lol

If you want a true voltage stabilizer you need one of these. They work great.
