Not familiar with the Getz model, but doing a quick bit of research it seem the "U" engine it seems most just dump it for a beta. However being based on the Alpha you might want to research how interchangeable those parts are. I don't think there are any US spec cars running U's unless theres a diesel Soul around.

I believe the 1.6l Getz runs the same Alpha as the Accent based on pictures other Getz owners have posted.

We will do what we can. smile.gif Luckily most of us have to order parts off of the internet, very few of us are lucky enough to be near a local supplier.
Low compression pistons, Connecting rods: Import Performance Parts
Cams: If anyone can get them it's going to be Racing Performance Works
Performance rotors: DBA2451, or slotted DBA2451SL & DBA2451SR
Ferodo ds 3000 brake pads: Ferodo FCP435R
Big brake kit: Ksport
LSD: Quaife QDH4B
Stand alone ECU: KFX (I doubt the plug and play version will work)
Have you considered swapping in the Beta 2.0l engine? It is a lot easier to hit 280hp with the Beta than the Alpha. That's right around the maximum power anyone has made with the DOHC Alpha so you'll be doing something that most people won't be able to help you with. It should not be a problem, but getting parts and advice will be difficult and more expensive. The engine should be more than capable, the SOHC Alpha has made a lot more than 280hp before.
