Default General questions on parts and availability.

Howdy all,

I haven't been on in a while. Had alot of things going on in my life. However, now that I am back, I am contemp[lating new mods to the tib for the 03 show season. Myself and my crew can do almost anything mechanical, including SC and TC kits. So my questions are specific.

Here goes:

1. Does anyone make stronger replacement axles/CV's for the Gen2 Tib? If so, who and any idea on cost?
2. Does anyone make a performance Urethane Motor Mount for the Gen2? Who? Cost?
3. Does anyone make a Vortec style centrifugal SC kit for our cars. I have heard too many horror stories about Roots-style and would love the sound of the turbo without the headaches of wastegates, heat management, turbo timing, SAFC, etc etc.
4. Any opinions on a good det of TRUE coilovers? (HK, Tien, Etc?) Otherwise, opinions on the best set of coilover kits/shocks?

I know it is a long and varied laundry list. But I figured I'd ask.

Later,
Jeremy

Yep. Kore Drag Axles.

KORE is suppsoe to have a full CAR polyurethane kit. waiting on that.

No centrifugal s/c.

I would go TURBO.

Tien USA dropped the ball on the 2g coil overs.

No offense to KORE, but for the price dont bother with their coilovers.

You can do two things. Contact TIEN Korea, they have coilovers for the tib. Or get ahold of rob at hp, he is brining over SMB coilovers.

1. $350 to $750. Kore and www.driveshaftshop.com

2. No. E-mail Prothane and Energy Suspension. They won't make them because they claim there is no demand.

3. Ditto...see above.

4. There are many "good" sets of coilovers in korea. I would stay way from HDK's sets. Kore's Set is good if you know what you are doing with sspension setup/adjustment, or if you plan on setting it up once, and just leaving them alone.

I have a set of Kore street coilovers that come with no adjustment for valving coming soon. The spring and shock asm are already matched. I will let you know how they work once they are on the car. Oh almost forget, they are cheaper than the Full race versions also. I don't recall exact pricing however. I will find out next time I talk to them.
