Does anyone else have crappy gas pedals? My damm 2001 Elantra got plastic pedals! Anyone tried to get metal ones cause they fell like c__p!

 

Honestly, I think most cars nowadays have plastic pedals. My '97 Tib does. Regardless, they do what they're supposed to do just fine (make the car go and stop).

 

I made my own diamond-plated aluminum pedals. It feels like I'm driving a rally car! Now only if it were faster and had all wheel drive...HUM.

When i floor it, the bugger flexes. Shimmys left and right. I scade! Somebody just tell me to shut up cause the hyundai never gonna compare to my toyota...LOL Yeah my freinds 2000 Tib the same when we checked.

 

My pedals don't do that. Seems kind of fishy to me. I'm not an expert mechanic, but you might have something wrong with you're throttle assembly. You might want to take it to the dealership and have them look at it, but if they're anyhting like the dealership out here then they will probably say something like," It's a vibration inherent to the design and not covered under warranty." or some other BS.

My Dad was stationed there back in the day. Hawaii is da Shiznitobam. I wish I was old enough to appreciate string Bikini's back then. he he
