Every 1K ft of elevation you lose 3% HP?
If you have boost it shouldn't. Your boost is set by a spring via pressure yes? It might have to work harder to do it, but it should be able to make up for the lower atmo air pressure.
3% is right for every 1000 ft!
Also Boosted cars are effected to, just alot less, it is 1.5% per horsepower, and it does make its own atmospheric pressure, but only under boost, and also the boost level wont just change, still boosting what ever wastegate spring you have, but you will make less POWA due to the air at what ever PSI being less dense. It has to do with the air molecules being spread further apart, yet will still measure 11psi, just like if you ever run somewhere or climb pikes peak at elevation, you actually will be panting taking deep breaths filling your lungs with air, it is just the amount of Oxygen with in the air you breath!

When I did climb pike peak.. I didn't have something shoving air into my lungs with my exhaust gas.. not only would that be akward.. but.. yeah.... im going to leave that here and walk away now.
