I have not seen any Technical Service Bulletins on the 2000 or 2001 regarding electrical stuff.

Is your problem just headlight bulbs? Do you go to your dealer to have them replaced, or do you do it yourself? What brand bulb are you using? Is your headlight harness/wiring frayed/burned/scorched?

How often does this happen? Do they blow when you turn the lights on, or after driving for a while?

The more info you give me, the better I can help.

I've had the same issue with headlight bulbs, but mainly when it's colder outside...so have two other people that have 2k's here in Central Ohio. I lost my first headlight bulb 6 months after owning my 2k, and I have replaced 7 more bulbs (all low beams) since, and have had the car less than 2 years.

If there aftermarket bulbs or replacements:

It could be that when you put the bulbs back in the spring that holds the bulb tight, got bent some how. Therefore after time or when you hit a bump the bulb will move then cause it to blow.

I wasted 3 sets of APC's that way.

damn....my low beamers blew out a couple times too.....then I lost those damn little springs that holdthe lights in....and now my lights face down.....therefore driving in the dark isn't too fun....especially in the rain.
