I,m ok, my wife got banged up a lil, but she'll be ok...Could

have been worse, I was about to be charged with murder, but , police stopped me .......

 

Did you ever hear back from the insurance adjuster?

I saw your post on Facebook. I felt so bad for you man. Glad you and your wife walked away though and she didn't have to bail you out of jail. Did the guy get arrested for driving drunk? Hope he has good insurance because between your wife getting hurt and your car being destroyed...that's going to be one hell of a lawsuit and settlement. Hope you got in touch with your attorney right away.

Unless you have a special insurance policy with it insured for X number of dollars, the car will be totaled out, no doubt about that. It'll easily be several thousand dollars in damage.

 

I saw the FB post. Was waiting for you to post here. The good news is it's just stuff and stuff can be replaced. Was the driver arrested for DUI? If so, I hope you have every receipt and tons of pictures of you doing the work. If he's got insurance, you don't have to accept their offer, which will probably be based on book value. Show them the pics and receipts and tell them you're not interested in any offer less than $XXXXX. Yeah, that's 5 digits.

 

 

Yes, he got 2 charges, dui, and hgy infraction and went directly to jail,.I have all reciepts and an appraisel for 17g's..They just offered me 6g's, let the battle begin !

 

6G's is a massive insult! Get your attorney after them and sue em for TONS! You could end up walking away with your house paid off, new GTR, nice Lexus for the wifey, and a few vacations! lol
