Is anyone planning to buy another Hyundai as their next car? I think my next car will be something a little more of an upgrade than my current Genesis. What that is, I dont know at this point.

As long as people keep selling me driveable Hyundais for $500 or less I'm sure I'll keep buying them.
As for a new Hyundai, no I can't see myself buying one. They're no longer the bargain that they use to be and they don't really offer a car that I could see myself buying over competitors of a similar price.

I know the RD platform really well, and mine has been good to me so far. I'd go for another one.
But when you start talking about cars with touchscreens and computers to run the lights, count me out. New *anything* on the car market today has zero appeal to me.

If Hyundai releases their truck and it's a great value and offers a lot, I MIGHT do that. Otherwise, my next vehicle will most likely be a brand new Chevy Colorado. I'll keep the Gen for quite a while, considering it's almost 6 years old and I JUST hit 40,000 miles on it.

I still plan to buy the Wagon, and soon. As in maybe this fall the way things are panning out.
I also plan to buy a 2nd RD2 and an RD1 for later projects.
As for a newer Hyundai maybe *IF* the Elantra GT turbo even becomes reality and it's worth a damn and it's priced correctly. If not I am still hung up on the STI. I was liking the speed3, but the new models are fugly, cramped, slow and yet to add the turbo trim.

I bought my Avalon a year ago instead of a Hyundai. Didn't even bother looking at them. But, it was only because I wanted something with a great resale value. I intend to sell/trade the car not long from now for a truck.
If I were to get another car for the mileage, it would be an older Hyundai like an RD or Sonata.

I like the new Santa Fe Sport 2.0 Turbo and might consider one.
