Ah the RD1 was such a cool design. I wonder why there weren't any/many casts of it.

Probably no die casts of the RDs for the same reason as no J2s: deep side contour. I'd hate to have to design a die to die cast the pot metal body, with such a funky and relatively deep shape on the sides. At least, I'd hate to have to design it so it's supposed to sell at the same price point as a die cast slab-sided car.

These are what I got - I had them shipped to my gf's place in Korea, so I saved on shipping that way.



I should have got the red one too, but I bought silver because my dad's first Pony was silver, and a blue one to commemorate my destroyed pony back in 2004.



I suppose I could always buy another one...
