What was the biggest or most expensive car orientated purchase this year? For me it was new rims and tires ($1400).

I don't know if I can just count one thing because my husband and I both bought a lot of stuff in the same time frame. He got a paint job, coilovers, new rotors, new tires, and a whole bunch of smaller things I cant remember right now, and I got new rims and tires, new exhaust and coilovers. 2013 was pretty much a 'spend 10k on our sports cars' year. LOL

Buying my GK for $3700. Most I have spent on a car at once, ever.

I did a decent purchase of replenishing worn out parts for my 01 Tibby. Previous owner wasn't abusive towards the car, but she neglected regular maintanance.. I finally got around last weekend to fix the major issues, with the new parts just waiting to be installed.

tires, brakes, brake flush, struts, radiator, and the major tune up of course, and everything that goes with that. Just need to get the front bearings installed, that are on the shelf. Desperately needs a car wash now, with all the grease all over my car. :/

New wheels and all of my turbo pieces. Just need an intercooler and I can start putting it all together finally.
