When you travel at high speed on freeway, do you swerve to avoid debris or simply just drive over it? Let's say the debris is really small.

If I KNOW I can clear it I'll go over it. If I am unsure or don't think I can clear it I will swerve as long as I can safely miss it without hitting anyone else.

I move over it so my wheels don't touch the debris.
If it's too big to drive over, well, I'll probably have a shitty reaction time, then swerve and brake, then roll down an embankment and catch fire.

if the driver would have stayed to the right after the other car lost control, he wouldn't have wrecked his car (I'm talking about the car with the dash cam of course). I've always be taught to aim for the rear of whatever is coming at you, it's saved me a few times with avoiding deer and moose on the highways.
