Arrogant Hyundai owners
When you guys come across an arrogant Hyundai owner, how do you handle them? Do you set them straight and try to take them down a notch or two or do you just shake your head and walk away?

Laugh and nod, see if they have any other cool stories about life. I like seeing what people can fabricate.
We haven't even got any good Hyundais in Australia so it makes it especially funny.

I do the very same thing. Hyundai rep isn't all great in Europe and lingers, whereas most all skepticism in the States has vanished thanks to the Geneses and DI Elantra. I hope they really take the opportunity to convert non-believers over there but it's hard b/c they're competing with a lot of the best brands in the world-BMW, Alfa Romeo, Citroen, SEAT/Audi/VW/Skoda, Renault, Peugeot...etc, whereas in the States it's mainly Honda, Toyota.

Consider that the absolute shining light of Hyundai's performance in Australia is the Veloster turbo... other than that you can go and buy a used GK2 Tiburon if you feel like parting with $20k.
I definitely love my Hyundais, I think Excels are cool etc. However Joe Blow likes flashy paint and hurr rwd4driftz, so there's really no genuine counter argument to their jibes. The current AUDM lineup is actually shopping trolleys.
