Default Anti-seize

On which bolts or which applications is it recommended and not recommended to apply anti-seize on the threads of bolts? Ive heard you don't put it on lug bolts/nuts unless they're aluminum. Is this true? Thanks for your input!

Put anti-seize on stuff like spark plugs that screw into aluminum heads, I also use it on 02 sensors since they are exposed to extreme heat If the manual asks for it then I will use anti-seize on head or brake bolts.



Those are really the only things I use anti-seize on that I can think of right now. Oh I think you would also use it on stainless steel bolts
