My agent just told me that allstate covers nothing aftermarket for vehicles. This includes wheels, ground effects, subs, amps and screens and what not. And are there any insurance companies that actually do cover aftermarket products? I have full coverage with a $250 deductible.

Your policy is a better place to find out what is covered than asking your agent. I'm sure they will write you a policy for whatever - if you want to pay for it.
10 years ago when I had Progressive, they had an option to pay extra for every $100 of aftermarket part coverage.
While Allstate won't cover aftermarket wheels, they will cover the wheels as if they were OEM, so if one is damaged they'll pay for the cost to replace it as if it were OEM. It's likely that an OEM wheel+tire from the dealership would cost $400-500.
If you put a lip spoiler or ground effects on your car that puts it 3" closer to the ground, the insurance company won't cover it if you destroy it. That makes sense. But, if you replace the bumper with an aftermarket bumper and are in an accident, they'll pay to replace it as if it were OEM. You can use that money to buy an aftermarket bumper.
