Default $5 gas by Memorial Day

They’re saying it will definitely happen this year. Looks like I’ll be riding the CBR600 most of the summer and leaving the car in the garage.

I can't wait. I was not badly affected by high gas prices. Bring it on.

Pfft, gas has been fluctuating between 4.80 and 5.80 here for the last year. Today my local station is charging exactly $5 a gallon.

Australian average for ulp = 91RON

Perth average for ulp = 91RON

[95RON + 10 cents/l more, 98RON + 15 cents/l more]

when the premium fuels were introduced there was only a four-cent price difference, but it was now up to 10 cents.

i:e 98 RON = $6.00 gallon

It's an election year with a Democrat incumbent. The price will rise right before the election so Republicans can blame Obama. Right before the last election (with a Republican in office), the price dropped so the GOP could praise Bush's energy policies. It's all about big oil and politics.

Gas prices are rising also from the conflicts with Iran right now.

. . . and holding steady because demand is falling big-time. Both here and in China.

i8acobra, you're not suggesting that American politics are both crooked and cyclical are you? Hold on, where did I put my shocked face?
