Default 4g63 and G4GF info

hi all,

just a quick question.. i've searched the forums and didn't get any concrete answers. one thread was locked so i wasn't able to reply (resurrect actually) to the thread. anyway, my question is.. which engine outputs more power and torque? i've been googling and i seem to have hit a dead end.

is the 2.0 4g63 DOHC engine better than our 2.0 G4GF DOHC engine when both are used with manual trannys?

thanks in advance!

The 4G engines wont bolt directly in or up to the beta tranny. However, with enough money anything is possible. There has been a couple of people who performed the swap but honestly...you're much better taking the money and time you would've spent on a 4G swap and putting into a built up beta.

As for which engine is better, they both have their strengths and weaknesses. If it were me, I'd build up a beta any day of the weak versus having a 4G. Not just saying that because I'm a Hyundai fan either.
