Thank you man, I'd appreciate that. Ok I have some new pics to post here in a sec, I'll just edit this post.

So this is what I figure with the whole VDI/RDtiburons thing. A long ass time ago, I started the chance of us getting this nice nice product from a big name. Well, it was only because of me that the developement was set into motion, and only because of my constant nagging that anything ever gets done. Well, finally after benig told they should have the metal for the hinges on Aug. 6th, which never happened, I made my way down there today. It seems that everytime I drop the ball with them, and only make phone calls instead of VDI visits in person, nothing happens. Well, today I showed up after speaking with Louis on the phone around noon. I haven't been able to actually speak to Louis for weeks. So I was sure I'd see him there, and I drove down around 2. When I got there I walked to the back to talk with some of the shop guys, and nobody even thought they had the drawing done for it yet. GREAT?!! So I walked to the back and sat down for a talk with Louis there. Then I followed him around while he asked abut the kit. Not good when nobody knew anything about the kits. Finally we get someone who knows about em. Then we found out from another guy, that the metal showed up THIS MORNING??? So at least now they have the metal and can weld me up some kits. So I got a promise of 4 kits to be picked up monday or tuesday. I dont want to tease you guys, so lets just say tuesday I'll have 4 kits to ship out.

They even went outside and had me pose the car in front of the building, and took pics for advertising. As a matter of fact, I read a tuner mag today with a VDI listing in it that said under Hyundai:

Tiburon 03-05
Tiburon 97-99

When I told one of thier main engineers that that listing should read 96-01, they said they'd need to know FOR SURE that it'd fit on the advertised cars. So I'm bringing them my RD2 for a kit so they know for sure it'll be the same, lol. Cool with me! Anyway, I tried to get Louis to write you guys a letter about what he had told me, but then one of their other guys, Samir, told me he had just added my car to their website. Well... I figured that'd be good enough for you guys, and Louis asked if that was good enough. But when I got home it wasn't on there!!! So I got snaked, lol. But the site should have it anytime I'm guessing. They really liked the full CF front clip too, so maybe I'll get some magazine exposure about the kit being out. That'd make all of this sooooo worth it. Cause I'm up to my eyeballs in bills from VDI right now.

So guys, I really hope I can get you the kits shipping as soon as next week. For those still waiting, I dont think I can do anything aside from taking pics of me shipping a VDI box to RedTurbulance or something to show that this is moving anymore than it is. But if its still too unsettling to send in payments I do understand. Otherwise, good lord, ... must.... get..... couple.... orders [/chris dying]

You know mangs?

Like I said Chris, all I needed was SOME news of progress. So who will be the lucky first four? I will send out the balance I owe you for these of $480 as soon as I get out of work tonight. Then I'll be PAID IN FULL. Soon as I hear of any more progress on the fenders, it will be the same for those. Good job Chris!

they should have them listed for 96-01, but they only know for sure it'll fit a 97-99 cause thats the way they group the RDs. Nobody realizes everywhere else they have them in 1996. And not to sound like I'm a lil theif or something, but hey, if they dont believe the RD2 has the same chassis, a part with an MSRP of about 1900 bux is more than welcome on my RD2 to prove it to them, lol.

I'd put my life on the line that they DO fit ALL RD2s.

Yeah I can give you a deal on the VDC and the fenders. Thats been my package deal from the beginning. If you buy both, you get a deal. I'll need at least a 100 deposite on each. Thanks guys. I should have a kit in hand to take pics of tomorrow if their promise comes true! And its going to RedTurby!

Hey Chris, I just sent out the balance for my VDK. Now I'm all paid up. My paypall account is zgedmin@yahoo.com just in case there is any confusion. Also, what kind of deal were you going to give for those of us who bought both the VDK and the widebody fenders? I've already got a $150 deposit down on the fenders. So all together so far between the VDK and the fenders I've paid $1,130.

P.S. Could you update the list of people who have paid or have deposits down? I noticed my name isn't even on the list.
