patreezy, I told you already. I even have a buyer for my maintec headers. Provided that these headers look sweet and perform better.

I was there yesterday, and I'll be there today. The problem is getting him the stocker. He actually seems really ready to go with this. I hope he jumps on it when I bring the stock exhaust back. But its important because without the stocker how could he make the headers? They have to end somewhere. So I picked up the Apex exhaust yesterday, and I should have the stock back today or something. Thanks guys.

^^that's what I'm sayin..
if you have an aftermarket exhaust that bolts up correctly to the STOCK headers then you should be alright...
it'd be the same as a stock exhaust..

unless what you are trying to say is you need a STOCK set of headers..?
I dunno, I gave up trying to figure this out. I thought this was set in stone when it started..
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Info on the Headers

These headers will be a PERFECT fit for 96-01 RD Tiburons. No modification necessary, straight bolt-up. No cutting of studs or pipes that are too short guys.
The equal-length runners design are going to give you a bigger HP increase over standard headers.
Headers come ceramic coated, and are being produced by HotShot.</div>

I guess that was an assumption...

and this list started by zoned019 needs to be updated. Or should be anyways.. I know I've paid in full PLUS SOME, and already paid for shipping to Arizona. So I'm moving my name to the Paid in Full list..

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Interested List:
1. zoned019 - paid $200 down
2. <strike>Patreezy - paid $200 down</strike>

4. kcvoertex - paid $? down
5. Screwdriver - paid $? down
6. proturbotiburon - paid $? down

Paid (in FULL) List:
1. Patrick "Patreezy" PIF
2.

(do we have at least nine people paid already? like stated in the first post of this thread?)
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>These are in the pre-production phase, until Chris gets another $600 he can't start production.

Trust me man, they're going to be great. Just picture the Maintec GTs, but half price, ceramic coated, and a perfect fit.</div>

until Chris gets another $600? what the fvck...? ????

Calm down Pat, check it out. There is a very simple reason the exhaust I have wont work. And first off I need nothing to get these started, except a stock exhaust system. I dont know why it is people forget that we have like 3 different styles of exhaust systems on our Tiburons. First we have a 1.8 L "semi header" that has NO front cat. It has its its first o2 under the engine, the next comes from inside the car under the center dash (cup holders).

Second we have a 2 piece front exhaust mani/ Cat combo. It has bolts holding it together. Then it bolts up to a flex pipe with o2 in it. THATS WHAT I NEED

Then there's the guys with welded front exhaust manis and cats. There's should be the same.

BUT THEN we have the guys with 2 bolt oval flanges, and some guys with 3 bolt triangle flanges between the cat and the catback.

Its not happening unless I have the exhaust that I can sell to 99% of the guys, if I use what I have now, it'd only work for a few of you guys, leaving the rest to mod. I'm not saying that the original statement about these bolting up to 96-01 tibs no mods needed is false, its just applicable to the majority.

I'm buying a new exhaust this week so I can wrap this up, because now that John is finally ready to work, and asking me a bunch about it, I just want to start slamming out products.

Send me your apexi, I'll send you my RD1 stock exhaust. It's the mani/cat combo one.

What I want to know, is where the hell anybody could have got the idea to trade a stock exhaust for the best damn catback ever made for our cars? lol, that was one of the few good things Rick ever did, and I'll have that damn thing forever. Remember when he hooked me up, and I got dynos and sound clips and sold all his exhausts for him smile.gif
