lol.
I've done plenty of parking-lot action.
I installed the GTR spoiler in a parking lot, had to walk a block away and abandon my car to get a deep well socket from a caRX lol.

Anyway, I needed exhaust work done (basically a universal clamp hung) and it was super cold out, so I figured it was worth $25-30 to go somewhere and just get it done..
but the f***ers chargd me $50.
I was so pissed..

Anyway, it would be nice if I could install these in my grandpa's heated garage with my dad's tools, lol. rather than the school parking lot with a flash light~_~. beacuse once I open that box, see those headers, i KNOW i will have to install them ASAP..

I'm hoping that since these are flyryde's first, that it will also be the first thing I install on my car where EVERYTHING goes smooth and according to plan. Haven't had one thing yet where I didn't run into some little problem.
..
TPS breaking on throttle body
Needing longer allan screws on seats
Evap canister on CAI
Not being able to get old "custom" exhaust off to install my MBRP because it was all welded in one piece, had to drop down the rear suspension and get a hacksaw..lol.
Then the MBRP fits shitty and rattles like a b**** for about a month until I finally buckle down and pay another $50 at midas.
The guy welds the flanges on the wrong ends on my high-flow cat, have to wait until the next day for him to correct it.
Install cd player and a wire shorts out so i keep blowing my fuses and have no interior lights
Sub box cracks after a week

..man i shoulda just posted a gripe. lol
/rant.

so basically, chris im super excited, just let us know whenever you can, and i'm just crossin my fingers that i get them before jan 15th or so.

I'll give John a call today. I've been sick, but he said I'd be able to come over this week and grab my wheels off the car. The only way to do that is to have it up on a lift. So I'm hoping its on one.

These things will have the 02 bung welded in, the wires to extend the 02 if neccessary, the gaskets, and EVERYTHING you'll need to install. I just want these things done. So maybe I'll have some progress shots for you soon. I'm not making any promises (since they're not mine to make) about when John will finish these, so as far as Christmas? I can say I hope so.

never got ahold of him. Last week up till tuesday I hadn't really got anything accomplished as I was still just starting to feel up to leaving the house. Anyway, I'm back to busy again. I took some pics of the available hotshot headers, and I'm thrilled. They'll be no prob to sell right away, they fit great and flange under the engine is perfect. I'll put up a post about it so I dont mess up this one any worse. But I doubt the cars on a lift yet to be honest. You guys are feeling antsy I'm sure, but just imagine me, until I know my car is on a lift, I can say I'm struggling with transportation for NO REASON. Since my car has been there, I've been sharing my wifes car. Its now F-ed up and I have 3 cars at my home and none of them are drivable currently. Until John gets my car up there and starts work on it, I dont even have a good reason why I cant get around, cause my car is fine, and its just sitting there collecting dust.

Plus I wouldnt' mind making some money from all this, sh!t. Until you guys get your stuff, I'm making NOTHING from this, and its costing me quite a bit. Anyway, just so you dont think I'm ignoring your posts, this is whats up as of today. Thanks guys.

LOL, no its not. I'm sorry this is taking so long guys. You can understand how much slack I'm giving John since this is not exactly a hugely profitable deal for him. I dont care nearly as much about time frame on this, as I dont the 2nd or 3rd product. The deal right now is that he told me the car wouldn't go right up on a lift. Now a month or so later, its still not up on a lift. Thats what he told me before we started this, so there's no sense in complaining about it now. He TOLD me, and I've known, so its more on me than on him if you guys want to place your anger anywhere. Its your right to know whats going on with your money, and dont feel bad if you want to voice a negative thought here. I can handle you guys, cause you're all my brothers in a gay little hyundai click sort of way, but just the same I'm one of you guys, so I'd rather deal with your probs than to pawn them off on John like its anything different than what he warned me about.

I think you guys have been kick ass this whole way through, trusting me, lending me your cash, trusting me, being patient, trusting me... did I say something about trust? This would never happen in a forum where I was some stranger, so I'm glad I have your backing through all of my developement. One day I'll have a slew of parts exclusive from me, and I'll have you guys to thank. John too in some areas, but we'll have to wait from him to come through on some serious power making quality parts. I have tons of faith that this will end GREAT, but as warned I gotta wait before I can taste the goods wink1.gif
