Doesn't matter, the parts are the same.
Let's just say all of the parts are already HERE in my posession. I just need some help figuring out how to get th eold cables out and the new ones in.

Thats one of those things where its going to cost money to get the different base, then the new short shifter and possibly cables youre talking? Thats a lot for shift feel Im thinking.

eh.. even with the stock shifter with the XD base it would be better shift feel then ANY rd short shifter out there.
the rd shifter design is garbage to say the least.
the cables are a simple swap, if they are actually needed.. you could get cables/base/stock shifter from a junkyard for like 50$, then get a XD short shifter WITH bushings for like 70$.. and your still under the price of the rd ark shifter.
