We can't get members to "Just avoid the 16 inch deep puddle" with their intakes, you think they will avoid bumps?

It doesn't scrape. I've drivin with the Apex exhaust this was modeled after and never scraped. That was at stock ride height. This is on my RD2 which is straight slammed to the ground. I've been driving over speedbumps, over hard dips at 80+ mph on the freeway, and lots of steep driveways. I've not touched it. But we had to adjust the flange on this one because it was welded wrong from Hotshot. Mine is about as low as it could ever be. But its not really possible to hit it unless you run over a small animal centered between the two wheels. Its all Tits guys. I'm LOVIN it, but I'll have to remove it soon so i'll be street legal in Cali. I want to see about getting it CARB tested, or at least get the decibal rating on it to bring to the state, if I can get it under 93 decibals, I'll be good to go! Cali legal then!

only time i had scraped is going up a steep driveway, and my exhaust isnt really the best made (construction and quality is good) but the dimensions are WACK lol lmao.gif

the only time I have ever heard a tib sound like rice was an automatic that goes to my college with a custom magnaflow exhaust... My exhaust fell off, ive been driving around with just headers + down pipe + last cat, its loud as all hell but sounds fine from far off. I mean its not apexi N1 (CANT FRIGGIN WAIT) but it dont sound like rice thats for sure.

I have Magnaflow on mine, and it sounds awesome. One of the V8 guys asked me how I got it to sound so good cool.gif. I wish I could get some sound clips of mine, but my camera doesn't recongize anyones computer.

On topic:
That's a great setup. plenty of lowered cars run the same setup with no scraping. It's all in how you drive though. If you take it easy and drive carefully you can drive an Integra with an 3/4" clearence(I've seen it done).

Exactly. And on the note of anything rice or buzzy sounding, I flat out wouldn't put my name on it. This sounds SOOO nice, deep and mellow with the silencer, and I can only imagine how its gonna sound, no silencer, screamin on the dyno. It flows great, you can feel it right away. The car just pulls with a lot less restriction. That bend under the axle really really straightens out the flow of the exhaust, I wish we had these out years ago.
