I drove over to Chris' house to see how he was doing. When I pull up, I see this white guy in white coveralls in his garage; looks like a painter to me... Wait a minute, this dude has a fro. Ohhh, he's black! He's just covered in drywall dust. *duh* lol.gif

So Chris got an early wedding present from his parents. Last Thurday a group of men show up at his house that his parents hired to repaint/remodel the whole house. His office is half covered in plastic, half covered in roof stucco (they scraped the roof), and a mess. He gets a couple hours sleep a night on his plastic, stucco covered bed with all his furniture surrounding it in the middle of the room. New tile has gone into the kitchen, the whole inside of the house's walls have been scraped/sanded and is getting ready to be painted. The outside has plastic covering the windows and new paint everywhere. His garage.... you can't get into it.

He got in the orders for the Eibach group buy, but there is going to be a delay on shipping them out because of all the construction going on around the house. Plus his wedding is a week and a half away! According to Angela he still has to pick up the rings, make sure all the groomsmen have their tuxes, get gifts for the groomsmen, make more phone calls to make sure everyone has things straight, and a bunch of other just time consuming tasks.

He has no internet right now, and I don't think he can access his computer cause its somewhere burried in the middle of the mess that is his office. Angela and Chris look so tried, haha. So bear Chris for a bit. He'll get back with you guys as soon as the dust settles (litterally settles - Drywall dust that is.)

Thanks you guys. I crawled over all my stuff just so I could update you and I rigged up the dial up for this short time online this week. My wireless went down, and my wife is getting pissed about computer (her laptop) being out and messed up with the dust and grime everywhere, its ruining it for sure.

So anyway yeah, my dad's friend owed him some cash so they decided to just call it even on painting my house. At the same time, me and Angela just spent 2000 on some 20x20 tiles for the entire downstairs. We scraped the popcorn coating off the ceiling (sp??) and man does that stuff suck. Its been in my hair, my eyes, my nose, ears, finger nails, everywhere, and my house looked like the surface of the moon for a few days.

The paint inside should be done today I pray. The outside tomorrow. Tile the next day, and finishing touches including the back yard work by Friday, then I get married a week later. And I'm lagging on the wedding issues like Spiffy said since I have all this that fell in my lap. I just wanted tiles man, I swear and I got the apocolypse instead.

 

soon it will all be a distant memory Chris... and you can look at your new wife and your freshly painted house... and well.. this is not the 18+ area... so you get the drift.

grin and bare it until then.

 

First things First, take care of the Wedding things (or you'll never hear the end of it) trust me they never forget. We will forgive you for the delay on our products. Wife, family, business that is the order of life get used to it (hahahaha). B)

WE WANT OUR PRODUCTS, but we (I) understand how wedding prep goes.

Hope the wedding goes or did go good. Enjoy it cause it goes by faster than you think. My anniversary is coming up soon..and i can't believe its almost been a year. Congratulations.
