Default Yellow Headlight bulbs

are they illegal? I'm thinking about getting them b/c they seem to work better. And i like the look of the GTS cars in the LeMans series.

In some states yes, they are illegal.

Yellow light is reserved for FOG lights. Yellow light reflects less, and has less glare than white or blue light. That is why "true" fog lights are yellow.

Yellow light is not percieved by your eye the same as "normal" white headlight light. So replacing your "normal" headlights with yellow lights, you would be lighing up less of the road and you would see less lighting contrast (less depth perception).

If you want yellow lights...add a set of true fog lights, or replace the fog light bulbs with yellow bulbs. In most driving circumstances...you will see better with "normal" headlights.

I think white headlight would look better... also giving you better vision. I saw coupld of Mercedez having HID light (those white with some bluish light), and they look awesome.
