Yellow fogs lights/overlays

Are the actual yellow light bulbs more efficient or effective than the overlays or are they the same thing in terms of yellow light output?

I don't think there would be much different. Both have yellow output and will help cut through fog. White bulbs with yellow lamin-x might be stronger and have more lumens than a yellow bulb
