So I was looking for some VHT Nite Shade the other day in our Sturdevant's parts store and they were out, but they had the VHT Spray on tint and said it should work about the same, plus it was only $5 per 12 oz can so that beats the Nite Shade by quite a bit. Decided what the heck if it doesnt work I'll just sand it so I bought it and here's how far I've gotten so far. 2 thin layers on so far and I will wetsand the second layer when it finishes drying tomorrow. Let me know what you think.

Compared to the other stocker.

Here's what it is.

The can says it covers 10-12 feet and I've done two layers on both lights so far and it is still really full. It's also not as full black as nite shade and has a glossier look even without polish.
Edit: sorry pics are with my phone, I will get higher quality when im finished.

I havent put them up to the lights yet waiting for everything to dry and I will get some good pics when they are finished.
It is supposed to be basically the same as nite shade only its made for glass and is supposed to be glossy and reflect the outside light. Nite shade is more of a satin type of finish and has no light reflection.
I was also wondering about the price, Sturdevant's said that if they ordered nite shade for me it costs about $17 per 10 oz can so I was like f that, for $6 why not try. If anyone wants some of the stuff (after i finish, so you can see the results) I can get some cans of it and send them out. Just let me know

Haha well either way, price is definitely better for the tint spray and looks just the same really, it just requires a few more coats.
