A Work In Progress
Well, some of you may remember I had some hail damage on the tib a few weeks ago. I took it into the body shop friday and i stopped by today to see the progress because they were having problems fitting the side skirts. Apparently they are to short and didnt want to fit right in the back. i talked to the body guy and we figured out how he was going to fit them without doing fiberglass work. the kit is not that great of a fit (cuda2 front and back, cuda1 sides) the front is really close but the back is a little to tight around the tails and like i said, the sides arent that great either. overall, im happy with how it fits and i think it looks really nice. sorry if the pics turn out to big. im not sure how to change them. heres some pics:

The entire car will be repainted. Im sticking with the same color.

Aaahhhhh yes, The infamous taillights being too tight, and side skirts being too short problem. I had the exact same problems with the Cuda1 kit. Nice to see it was a genetic defect that was passed into the Cuda2. LOL lmao.gif
Looking good though...I like that kit aswell.

and where might the engine be? wink1.gif
fitment looks really good on the cuda2 parts. glad the tails are too tight and not tight enough, way easier to sand than to build up fiberglass.

ha engine is getting ready for turbo. hopefully it will be put in this coming weekend and running soon. color will still be the same. Yes, insurance is why its getting done so quick. I have no cash to spare right now. Ill post up more pics when I get some. I cant wait
man, i was going to enter cotm really strong without everyone knowing all this stuff. ya those are the mids for my components. i love the way the look turned out but its been hard to get them to sound right. i got a new amp for them now so that will probably fix it.
I didnt like the cuda2 skirts with the wierd notch in it so i substituted the sides. I got the cuda wing to which will look nice. thanks for the compliments guys

i've always liked the cuda 2 kit the best. I thought about just putting on it's front bumper but it would be waaay to low compared to the rest of the car. So I'm staying stock in that category or getting a lip or something.
I like the Cuda2 kit. I think it's the nicest kit out there for the RD2 next to the Zefiro Turbo Kit. Then again, I don't think that body kits look right on our cars in general. The furthest I'd go as far as a kit would be the GT-Tech lip kit, lip & sideskirts. Maybe I'd mold some of those Erebuni rear pods on too.
