I am loking for replacement wiper blades in red. I am have looked everywhere. I found them in a catalogue but the store doesn't carry them anymore. Also, wI heard double bladed wipers scratch windsheilds. This true or are some brands better than others?

Double wipers are not good if you live in an area that gets snow. The reason why is because snow gets in between the 2 blades and when you turn your wipers on, it just smears the snow all over your windshield, making it difficult to see. Also, they're alot heavier than normal wipers, so you put stress on your wiper motors.

Well, I could always use my old ones when winter hits. My problem is finding them. Anybody have web pages where you can by these. Even if I can find single blade wipers in different colors, I would be happy. I am sure the same site would sell them in Carbon Fibre as well maybe. One place I saw was called "by Alpena" but I found no website for them. Just a page in a catalogue where my store decided not to carry. They offered double wipers in Carbon Fibre. Thanks for the info again, btw.

Tenzo makes wipers that are either anodized silver, black, blue, white, red or carbon fiber. These work great, better than what was on there. They also look pretty sweet as well. IF some one can tell me how to post pictures I will put up a bunch of what I've done so far.....

Go to Canadian Tire and get some teflon ones,... they work great, metal arms and all.
They're not in red,.. but You could maybe paint it?
Just a option for ya.

www.jcwhitney.com carries wiper "blades" in various different colors. They are Silocone.

You will have to paint the wiper ARMS if you want them to match.

That's no problem. However, I checked the site and failed to find any wipers of different colors there. Any ideas?
