The Screaming Wiper Arms...
I was dropping off my sister to work today, a few minutes ago, and it was raining so obviously I hit the wipers, as soon as it starts, *Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkk* I almost hit the breaks... it was terrifying..
At first i thought it was the blades on the glass, and somehow the springs on the arms were holding it down were too tight.
Its actually the passenger side arm, the rotation is making a very loud squeaking sound, at the pivot point. Its pouring outside, cold and i dont have enough room in my garage to have the car parked and be infront of it at the same time. Going to take a look at it tomorrow and see if i can remove the panel and get a glimspe of the gears spinning it (Nothing is visible under the hood, incase you never noticed).
I hope it just needs a bit of lubrication, and nothing else, anyone else ever had something like this before? I have never even heard of such a thing.. Wipers too hard on the glass sure, squeking arm.. umm first for me.

check out webtech, they should have the procedure for diagnosing and fixing thhis on there.

if you dont know what webtech is, go into the DIY forum and click on the "stickied" topics at the top.

maybe it's the rubber of the blade that is squeeling.

I had that, new wiper blades help.
