Both wipers move in unison when i move them also. The wiper arms move freely and the motor does indeed work. I started to try and take the plastic covers off before work but i didnt have time. But i have a day off tomorrow so i will definately take a look tomorrow. The help has been greatly appreciated, in the long run im sure this will have saved me a lot of time and money.
i did the same thing <-- ohio mang too..
all I had to do was tighted down that little nut that holds onto the wipers (kinda like connects the wipers to the motor.) they work great now, I think I actully had to do that , because now they work better then before.

Oh geez this was the easiest fix ever i believe. I get the wipers and the cowl off and wiggle the nut to see if it was a little bit loose, and it wasnt so i turned the wipers on just to watch it work. And ya know what was wrong, the little ball and socket thing that is connected to the wiper arm had slipped off, so i snapped it back on and they worked fine. All this took me like 10 minutes to dissassemble and put back together. So i give you guys a big thanks.
