So I was watching some hot rod show a few years back and they were using this special tape that was part automotive masking tape and part cardstock or plastic or something. the point was that you could slide it under window and door seals then tape it back and the stiff part would pull the seal back so when you painted it a new color it wouldn't show if the seal moved a little bit out of place.
Any, my problem is that I saw this back when I thought cars were cool, but I wasn't into wrenching on them or anything and I cant remember what it was called so I was wondering if anyone else had ever seen or heard of this stuff?
So apparently Ive been way over thinking it, its just called trim tape.... well dont I feel like a dumbass, anyway, people wanting to paint there cars should check this out.
