I was thinking my RD2 would look a lot more aggressive/sporty if there were some wide fender flares, like there are on the Bimmers and such. Would this look good on a lowered RD2 with the stock body, or would it look kind of funny without some kind of kit?

It would look good, but they don't make them for our cars.

i think fender flares look like ass on our cars. the body of a tiburon is just too narrow and makes them look rediculous imo.

I think widebody style on tibs look hot..

But just adding a "flare" is uuuggly. Like those invader ones you see on ebay, or there's those pictuers of that burnt orange tib with them, eww.. MAYBE it might look okay if it's molded

I'll post pics of my RD2 with fender flares tomorrow. I have old ones, but I want a general concensus on how it looks. I know my opinion, I just want others as well. But I get it back hopefully mid day from VDI.

this came from Kspec... it is now my desktop image and the "inspiration" for what I have planned for my car.

Just gotta find the "right" flares off of a car in the junkyard, cut them off, weld them up, and have fun with lead.

that does look good. subtle and molded. thats the only shot of fender flares i have seen that look good to me. however, to complete that look you need some huge wheel spacers, which cause other problems in themselves.

Those look awesome, exactly what I think of when I think of fender flares. It gives the car a little wider more agressive look too

actually.. if you look closely at that tib.. it does appear to have adaptors from 4 lug to 5.. but it also has negative offset rims, which pushes the tire further out from the body of the car.
