Im still looking to replace my broken black altezza. It seems like a few months ago they were readily available on ebay but now I cant find them anywhere. I checked importshark.com and the black ones are out of stock. It seems like all thats available are the chrome and carbon fiber ones. I'll resort to the CF ones if I have to but Id really prefer the black ones. Anyone have any idea where I can get them?

well you can get them on ebay for like 60-90 bucks shipped
ebay

only could find a cf but there should be some black around

importshark, well you checked them lol

and greatblackshark on the forums is selling them for "153.20+15.00 for shipping and 3% for paypal" at least for RD2 tails, not sure on rd1's

and i dont 'think' flyryde or kspec sell em but i could be wrong,

was looking for a good place to get a set of black ones for an RD2, so far all i came up with is ebay being the cheapest lol

From past experience, do not purchase Tails off of Ebay, they do not fit properly unless you want to modify. Mine that I bought from ebay lined up ok with the holes but the actual light left about a 1 inch gap between the body and the light.

I boughtn my original black ones off ebay way back when they were first made. They were the shark racing failed prototypes that didnt fit quite perfectly, but it was always good enough.

But I guess they dont make the black ones anymore, I dunno I can only find cf. I found the black ones on a site in the Netherlands but Im not paying $200 plus shipping for them, lol. Guess I'll settle for the cf.

The CF would probably look really nice with you paint.
