I'm actually thinking of buying Slipstreams too. lmao.gif I'm in love with Rota wheels, rather not pay out the ass for similar weight on a different rim.

I'm torn on Gunmetalic w/ polished lip, or the Sport Bronze.

I can't find any pics of what the Gunmetalic looks like on a car. 02.gif

HKC, stock alloys are actually pretty heavy.

Does anyone know the exact weight of the stock wheel. I think I remember OP sayign 18 lbs. When I weighed them with almost bald tires (new the tire weighed 21 lbs) it weighed 38 lbs. So Im thinking that the stock wheels are closer to 20 lbs. The 4x114.3 bolt pattern makes it very hard to find lightweight 15s. Most are for the 4x100 pattern such as the buddy clubs and konig Heliums.

I actually was thinking about the Slipstream also. But I decided not to for my own personal reason, I dont like the small "cookie" cutter spokes. I got Buddy Club P1 Race spec wheels. These are lightweight, affordable, and looks better than the slipstream i think. They only come in white though, but you may want to check them out. These are made in Japan and also a little higher in quality and looks.

They also have other wheels in our bolt pattern you may like.
But getting back to your ??, I would go with the bronze if you decided to get the slipstream.

If you must get Rotas, get the ones that OP used to have on his Tib... They were cool.

The Slipstreams look pretty old school, which is cool if that's what you are after but I'm guessing you want more of a racer look so I'd recommend a thinner 5 or multi-spoke rim, maybe in a 16" diameter.

I don't care what anyone else here says, black rims are sweet & would give your car a really mean look - the look I actually wanted to achieve with my car but none of the rims I wanted were ever available. I ended-up going with "Hyper-black" but they're still really bright & shiney... more like "Shadow-chrome" sad.gif
