So, I went out and bought myself a set of carbon fiber front canards and I was wondering what everyone thought of them? Useful or more for show than anything? They look like these:

I have an authentic Club GTR kit that I bought from Shark Racing a loooong time ago (thats showing my Hyundai age....haha), so its this body kit on my car:

They can make a decent difference in racing, but I always thought they look pretty cheesy on most cars. I would have to see them installed to give an opinion though. On your body kit bumper I don't see a place where they would look right personally.

I was thinking closer to the wheel well, up towards where the bumper and fender line is. smile.gif

I've only seen them mounted on a rounded corner, I can't even picture them on a nearly flat surface. I dunno.

It will look different for sure. Did you get universal ones?

Yeah, universal ones. I fitted them to see if they would fit ok in that area, and they do. I hardly see anyone around here with them, so I think it would be unique. Not sure. I definitely want to get a Carbon Fiber front and rear diffuser though. Always loved how those looked on cars.

Yeah, I want a CF front diffuser, and maybe rear on the Tib. I think CF against yellow looks pretty good.

If it looks like it would look good it probably will, but 1.gif for taped in place pics.

I have thought about getting some for my Accent. I have a 98, but am adding soon a front bumper lip + splitters I'll be making myself.

I didn't know what to make of it when I first read the thread, and I can't really picture it, so I drew a picture, and I still can't really picture it.
