I personally love my 6000k hid kit. Gives off great light output and also gives me a nice white hue. No ricey blue color.

I had 8000k on my Tiburon. I loved them. I have 6000k on my Genesis. I love them more.

Diode Dynamics is a vendor here and I've purchased HIDs from him for my last three cars.

8K will give you a little bit of a blue color. 6K will be pretty much totally white. I had 6K's on my tib and loved it. People dont realize that the more blue their lights are, the less visibility they have. And n00bs will think if they have 120K HID's, then they'll be brighter than someone with 6K.

i think i have 6k but i sort of wish i had 5k to keep that stock look. i also love the warm color that 5k gives. they say that 6k, 6,500k is classy (new trend), but i'm getting the sense that 5k is more classy. not sure how to explain it...

the hint of blue on the 6000k removes the yellowish look. It has more of a crisp, clean white IMO which in turn can look classy.

had 6k on my first tib and they went in my bike. have 3k now in this new tib. i like the look of the 3k from the bystander view but i could see so much more/farther/better with the 6k setup in my bike. i only keep the 3k in there for the look with the black car/gold wheels/gold lights

On a side note, what color temperature would you say the stock halogen bulbs are? I'd like to get crisp white/blue low beams, then very yellow fog/driving lights.
