drop it first and then see if you want a body kit. after dropping it you might just like how it is.

I don't completely agree with Long. If you want a body kit, go for it, but you'll have to get it painted. You shouldn't scrape/crack/damage the kit easily unless it's a veilside. It's the lowest of any of them, all the others you can prevent it much easier, but you can still hurt it.

If you lower it, it may be TOO low to get a kit. If I had put a lowering kit on my car, I'd have less than a half inch of clearance and UNABLE to drive my car at all. I wouldn't have been able to get the car out of my driveway to the paint shop (or anywhere else).

If you like the way the Tib looks lowered, go for it. If you're going to get a body kit, you might want to get the kit first, then see if it needs to be lowered. Most kits don't need to be lowered, but some (original zefiro) should be.

I dropped my car with Eibach Pro Kit and after doing an 05 front end conversion I scrape all the time...if it is a daily driver I wouldn't reccommend a body kit...you will be repairing and painting it constantlly...don't think I will be getting one anytime soon...

I have a body kit and trust me paint chips are a mother. My front bumper is plastered full of them, not completely bad and I drove back and forth from TX to IL about 5 times but I couldn't believe in the short about of time how many little white dots I had. My opinion is to stay away from fiberglass if you can get some of that paint protectant film and hope to not accumulate a lot of chips, if you have a way to paint it from time to time they your golden. You will have to change your state of mind while driving because you have to watch the road like you are in Iraq looking for IEDs. You have to swerve to the side when going over speed bumps, pot holes and such. You probably do it already but will have to emphasis more for going over the stuff and looking out or risk cracking your bumper or scraping. My first bumper was my learning experience and getting used to driving with one, I will get another bumper later but body kits are nice but you have to be way more cautious that with your normal set up. I wouldn't recommend dropping the car after because the car will most likely look lower just from the kit. As of right now my car is sitting at the stock height and with my body kit I would scrape crazy if I lowered it. My input for body kits, as for lowering without the body kit haven't done it so can't talk about it. Guess it would be nice and will hug the road more but I'm a kit guy with wider stance tires but not to wide the tires stick out past the fenders.

Yeah go that route if your leaning more for a body kit, get the kit first see how low it looks to you. Drive it around for a couple days to see how it is around the neighborhood. Then if you want lower it to what you think is best. I was actually looking at mine just a few min ago and I think I'm going to drop mine a tiny bit later but after I put my custom exhaust on.
