Default 97 tiburon parts

My 97 tib was in low speed front end collision and its pretty f'd up, what should i do with it?

like the spinners? (haha)

well it looks pretty bad and im not really sure what i should do, the car still drives, runs and everything, so probably just from the radiator foward on the front needs to be fixed but should i even bother or just buy another car? (insurance isn't covering it)

How much do you have invested in it?

How many miles/km's?

oh man.. that sucks.. but if all you need are fenders, hood, bumper, and the radiator support.. you might be ahead... if you have frame damage... well, that will require a trip to the frame puller for sure. If you can get the parts used and cheap though, I say see what you can do to fix it up.

First off man, did your insurance total it? If not, then go ahead. If it did, see if it's even worth buying the car back with the insurance money. Hope you can get it fixed man.

Headlights are usually a bit expensive, look around alot.

Besides the stereo, there's really nothing else invested in it (except the hubcap spinners). There's about 73k miles on it, i found one headlight on ebay for cheap, but other than that the local yards haven't had anything i could use... the two peices that the bumper support (peice behind the bumper) attaches to are bent so i will probably have to make a trip. If anyone knows of any good places to get cheap oem stuff online help me out.

oh and insurance didnt total it, its still mine... i just didnt get any money for any of the damage (no collision)

Holy sh!t that looks almost identical to my car

why didn't they total it? It should definetly be totaled, mine was.

You could do what I did, I got a carbon fiber hood (under $500), clear corners ($80), new headlights (about $150 for both) Zefiro front bumper ($500 for bumper + $400 to refiberglass/paint it, I got severely ripped off here, but you could easily get a whole body kit for around $500, or just the stock front bumper for maybe $100). Your fenders you could probably just have banged out for the time being, thats what I'm gonna do until I get new ones. You could also opt for all stock parts and spend around $500, and do most of the work yourself.

have the frame fixed and do a front end swap w/ a second gen, if you are going to keep it.

The only part you have to worry about is the upper radiator support.. that has to be cut out and rewelded... everything else is bolt on
