A saw a couple companies make double bladed wipers in a variety of colors but upon looking, I discovered that the Tiburon uses a very large 22" blade for the driver's side and 18" for the passenger. Not a single company I checked that make these double wiper blades in colors make them larger than 20". Is it unadvised to replace a 22" with a 20"? Could the 18" be 20" as well to offset? I understand these could be very stupid questions but I am going to ordering these soon and I need to be sure.

 

You should be ok changing the driver side blade to a 20". But I would leave the passenger side at 18". Because if you add two inches they may hit each other on the down stroke.

 

Yeah, figured as much. I measured the 22" and didn't think it would cut my visibility that much shearing it down to a 20"

Now I am going to follow it up with another dumb question. What's the length of the rear wiper? Is it any different in shape (...that's the dumb one smile.gif )

 

Yeah the back window is different, I don't know what it is but some genius in Korea thought we'd like to buy 3 sets of wipers.

 

You need one of each to do a full change of all your blades...18", 20", 22".

So the rear is a 20". Cool, then considering the subject content, I get one 18" and two 20"s. Now, if only I can find an easy way to paint the wiper arms... smile.gif
