vinyl wrapping
Hi guys I'm thinking of wrapping my car instead of painting it for the short term maybe 12 months.. I have a mate with a vinyl printer and he suggested a camouflage scheme.. I'm still on the fence as to what it will look like.. I was thinking a yellow, blue and black scheme.. I just don't know how it will look... car is a 1996 accent/excel x3 has anyone done it before??

It will definitely be unique. No one here as far as my knowledge goes, has done it. Will you be applying the vinyl wrap yourself or having a company that specializes in it, do it for you? Its definitely not an easy process from everyone I know who has tried to do the job themselves. Expect to spend alot of time on it to make it perfect.

My mate is a professional in that field.. he will print up the peices and then we will apply.. we will have multiple 1 foot x 1 foot peices that will make it easier to apply. The edges will be cut to the camo design edge so if we overlap them it won't matter...
My only reason for doing this is to allow me to delay getting the paint done.. I have replaced the rear hatch with a different colour and the roof has faded.. this way it should look trick until I get the rest of the things done to be ready for paint..
