^??? I never heard that one lol.

I dont know if a summer will make a difference. What happens is the cars paint (and vinyl) fade due to the sun. Since the vinyl is over top of the paint, the paint under the vinyl is darker since the vinyl is absorbing the UV rays.

I would just skip the vinyl, it usually looks nasty anyway

If you plan on sticking a sheet of vinyl on your car for 1 summer then take it off, that would be retarded and pointless, wouldnt it?

Yes, sun will fade color and under vilin color should stay the same as when you place vinil on.

But, as your car is grey, I don't think pain will fade much.

i had vinyl on my wifes car over the summer last year and when we removed them you couldnt tell they were ever there. Depends on the area you live in and the weather. But i dont think one summer anywhere will make that big of a difference
