A few minutes ago I was doing a search and came across an old post about the SR taillights.
I was looking at the car and saw this kinda interesting rear end..



Anyone knows what kind this is and if still avaible?

 

that would be the proto rear bumper. it's a widebody kit for the rd1. it's now longer produced 02.gif . but it is a awsome kit. here's some pics.

That is damn sexy. Reminds me of the GK SC2 kit.

 

Nope, it's not the proto. Doesn't look like it at all. The proto kit was a full CUSTOM kit you had to have put on BY PROTO. They had wide fenders and everything.

The kit rear you are looking at is actually a rear lip. I just pulled one off of my wife's 1997 Tib, it's the old EVO Rear Lip.

Look for it from Blacktibs and Flyrydes soon.

 

That's a nice kit except for the hideous "evo" lights. Evo fronts look good on some cars. Rd1's aren't one of them imo.

anyways that rear looked pretty good from the evo kit front looks like you can cook a steak with the HUGE FRIGGIN LIP it has after the hood

 

It could also be a MIRA rear end...
